The Bureau of Public Procurement organised a capacity-building workshop for local government chairmen and council leaders across Taraba State, focused on sound procurement practice, compliance with the Public Procurement Law and the responsibilities of accounting officers at the local government level.
Sessions covered procurement planning, approval thresholds, open competitive bidding and record keeping. The workshop closed with a cultural display celebrating the rich heritage of Taraba State.
